St George Tombland Today

Today the Chuirch of St. George Tombland remain a centre for religious worship.

St George is a traditional high hurch firmly within the Anglican tradition seeking to offer a warm welcome to all visitors.

The inclusive congregation is drawn together by their particular form of worship and the love, care and acceptance they try to show each other.

The Parochial Church Council has produced a mission statement -

"St George aims to be a living witness to Our Lord and an evolutionary catholic faith within Tombland and the city, whilst being a haven for spiritual growth and renewal for others and ourselves"
