Since 1996 this church has been part of the Kings Community Church which has the very clear  belief :  “… that ‘church’ is about people, people who have discovered God’s love and are eager to celebrate it together and share it with others.”  As such it is somewhat ironic that the community which does not worship in a church building – as it believes a church is about  people rather than “bricks & mortar”  - uses a church in a none ecclesiastical sense to enable it to work with its congregation in the community.

The church is used Friday weekly & one Saturday a month for youth activities (age 11 – 18 years). Toby Skipper believes that it is good for the church youngsters  to have somewhere that is truly their own. It has a variety of uses but particularly comes into its own when live bands appear. As is the case at St Swithin (Norwich Arts Centre) the acoustics in the building are great for concerts and the venue adds to the atmosphere. St Savior  receives approximately 100 visitors per month who attend the concerts, courses & make use of the café facilities.
