The Family Memorials & Monuments of St. Simon & Jude

It is really sad to see the poor state of the monuments in St. Simon & St. Jude. Some are covered in paint and some impossible to decipher. However, as I write this in December 2007, the Pettus monument is being restored as part of a £70,000 project funded through the Heritage Lottery Fund and other bodies including the Leche and Francis Coales Trust. The restoration will be completed early in 2008
As soon as the renovation work is complete the site will be updated.
