Norwich Historic Churches Trust

Frequently Asked Questions of NHCT

I am interested in the Medieval History of the City how can I visit the Churches?

The Trust gets involved in Heritage Open Days in September and access at other times can be arranged.  Please check on the individual Churches to see the access arranged relevant to that building.  Also during the summer of 2007 a ranger will be opening St Gregory, St Lawrence, St Andrew and St Peter Hungate at regular designated times as per this website.

Can I become at member of the Trust?

At the moment there is no facility but the Trust is considering this development for the future.  However we are always looking for people who could help with various tasks, Heritage Open Days, cleaning, research. Please contact the Administrator to discuss this matter further.

I am interested in renting a building for my business/charity.

Some information will be available on this website but it is always worth talking to the Administrator regarding your requirements as some of the buildings can accommodate shared use, stage individual exhibitions and the situation is constantly changing.

We are looking for a speaker to attend our AGM/Meeting could somebody talk on the work of the Trust

The Board of Trustees are very knowledgeable on the work of the Trust as well as the history of our buildings and by arrangement would be happy to offer talks to other organisations.
